Mímir

A multi-camera viewer for Apple TV, iPad and Mac.

Watch all your cameras at once. Mímir works with ONVIF, RTSP and Reolink cameras on your own network, with nothing to sign up for and nothing sent to us.

Many cameras, one screen

View your cameras in a grid of 2, 3 or 4 columns, with an auto-tour and PTZ patrol that cycle through them for you. Go fullscreen on any camera for PTZ controls.

Works with your cameras

Supports ONVIF and RTSP cameras, plus Reolink cameras with AI detection, doorbell, spotlight and SD card recordings.

Two-way audio

On iPad and Mac, hold the talk button to speak through a camera that supports it.

Timeline and replay

On iPad and Mac, a cross-camera recording timeline with synced replay, and bulk export for the clips you want to keep.

Sync with iCloud

Optionally keep your cameras and settings in step across your devices through your own private iCloud account. Turn it off per device any time.

Private by design

No accounts, no servers, no analytics, no ads. Video goes straight from your camera to your device. Privacy policy.

How do I add a camera?

Mímir scans your local network for ONVIF cameras and lists the ones it finds. You can also add a camera yourself, or enter an RTSP URL directly. Your Apple TV, iPad or Mac must be on the same network as the camera.

Why does Mímir ask for Local Network access?

Cameras live on your home or office network, and iPadOS, tvOS and macOS require your permission before an app can find and talk to devices there. Mímir uses it only to discover and connect to cameras you add. Nothing leaves your network.

Which cameras are supported?

ONVIF cameras, any camera that provides an RTSP stream, and Reolink cameras (including AI detection, doorbell, spotlight and SD card recordings).

Is my data collected?

No. Mímir collects nothing. See the privacy policy for what the app stores on your device and in your private iCloud account.
